Todd, I thought you made a very good point in that faith + grace = salvation with regard to there being no such thing as saving grace. However, I do see that there are degrees of faith and degrees of grace. So, I do believe that saving grace is simply "more grace" given to the person who believes. However, "more grace" must be coupled with faith in order to be saving grace. I hope that makes sense.
2 Corinthians 10:15 "Not boasting of things without our measure, that is, of other men's labours; but having hope, when your faith is increased, that we shall be enlarged by you according to our rule abundantly,"
James 4:6 "But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble."
